I am looking for a natural insect repellant, I don’t like DEET.?
Q:Do you know of something natural I could use rather than the commercial brands. I don’t like the feel of them on my skin.

Try using a citronelle scent. It works. I have a citronelle candle in my house and it keeps the bugs gone. I also use OFF!. OK this sounds really stupid but it WORKS put a fabric softner and static remover dryer sheet like bounce or whatever brand you use in the back pocket of your jeans. But it has to be regular sent only! Something that I use on a regular basis that is quite natural and safe is a combination of lemongrass and eucalyptus essential oils that are diluted in either distilled water in a mister or jojoba carrier oil for direct skin massage. The combination of these aromas, the citrus and mint will repel mosquitos. I have both oils for sale at my website and offer much more information on the use of essential oils in aromatherapy. I actually read an article today that said CATNIP essence/oil/extract, whatever, is 10 times more effective than DEET. this is really disgusting but. putting tomato juice on your skin makes the mosquitoes not want to go near your skin
Vitamin B complex tablets/capsules work well. They make your sweat smell like yeast, but it keeps the bugs away! “Burt’s Bees” makes an all natural mosquito repellent. Google it.
