split them in half ..one caveat though…if the pill is marked as time release then dont crush it or split it or dissolve it
Cut them up, then swallow or take the chewable kind.
some vitamins, drugs, pills et. cetera have a different coatings on them so that the drug and or vitamin can be released at the proper destination in your GI tract. Some drugs and vitamins, can be absorbed in the mouth, some in the stomach, some in the small intestine and some in the large intestine. If you dissolved your pill in water, and something needed to be absorbed in the small intestine- the acid in your stomach would break the active ingredient down before it is absorbed! My suggestion is find a different brand of vitamin and make sure that your diet is your primary source for vitamins and nutrients.
most medications will have some kind of information on the bottle as to wether they can be dissoved, crushed, chewed, etc, I’d say if it doesn’t your best bet is a pill splitter, and just take two smaller ones.
Take pills whole unless yourdoctor or pharmacist tells you itis OK to split or crush them.
Sure it is. 2 benefits: you get the nutrients and you are hydrated at the same time. Don’t worry about it. Just as long as you don’t mix it with other drugs, it’s fine.
Its safe to desolve them in water but I can guarantee they will taste terrible. Try cutting them in half with a sharp knife.
crush them and put them in applesauce and eat immediately. They may taste horrible dissolved in water.
GET A PILL CRUSHER
