Q:I’ve heard two different statements about vegetarians.I’ve heard that vegetarians don’t eat dairy and meat.but then i’ve heard that vegetarians don’t consider fish, chicken, eggs or turkey as meat (flesh). vegetarians is a loose term i n general they dont eat meat, some vegetarians(octovegetarians??) check their products and make sure that egg, beef stock or chicken stock is not even an ingredient in their dry goods, while others are just against flesh. There is another kind as well PETA can give a lot of information on this I have a lot of family who are vegetarians, and they will not eat any steak or ham. No animal meat. They will have eggs, but that is as close to meat they get. They wouldn’t eat turkey. They drink milk for the calcium and cook with butter, but they would prefer to stay away from it.
