2011 Emmy Awards, Charlie Sheen Offers Olive Branch to “Two and a Half Men” Cast

Charlie Sheen offered an olive branch to the cast of “Two and a Half Men” Sunday night when he presented the 2011 Emmy Award for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy. The embattled actor who has done nothing but annihilate his former co-stars and the executive producers of the show made a bold appearance at the awards ceremony.

Charlie Sheen’s speech at the 2011 Emmy Awards:

“I want to take a moment here to get something off my chest and say something to everyone here at ‘Two and a Half Men,’ ” Sheen said before naming off the nominees in the Lead Actor category for a comedy. “From the bottom of my heart I wish you nothing but the best from this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together and I know you will continue to make great television.”

How does Charlie Sheen feel about Ashton Kutcher taking his place on “Two and a Half Men”? The actor is playing nice and seems to really be happy he’s part of the show he once made a hit.

In fact, he tweeted Kutcher recently:

“Seriously. Great talking to you. We’ll all be watching. Makes us proud.”

How will Ashton Kutcher’s comedic flair be on the show Sheen was the big star of? Will Charlie’s olive branch at the 2011 Emmy Awards hold any water after the chaos he stirred up earlier this year with all of his controversial public ranting? In Hollywood, time forgives bad behaving actors.
