Best Local Dog Parks of Oklahoma

You’ve picked up the kids from school, shopped for groceries, fed the dog-wait, the dog? Did you remember to walk the dog? Wait, you’ve got to get the kids to the soccer game at the park! Why not bring Fido along? Here’s a few places that you (and doggy) will love.

1. PawsOK

Happiness is watching a dog run and play at the new Paw Ok Dog Park! Dogs only need to “behave” for the brief time it takes to get off the leash, then the fun begins! The Dog Park has two fenced play areas — one for dogs under 30 pounds and the seniors, and one for larger dogs. Water stations, trees, benches, lots of room to run and a pond make it the perfect play area!

2. Joe Station

Joe station was rated 5/5. One of the largest, and highest rated off-leash parks.

3. Biscuit Acres

Has an area for dogs 30lbs and under and another area for dogs over 30lbs. Each area also has pet drinking fountains as well as hoses to rinse dogs off should it be a muddy day. This dog park changes hours for the seasons: Beginning May 2, 2012 open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 a.m – 9 p.m. The first week of October, it will change to a Thursday through Sunday schedule. The first week in January it will be open Friday through Sunday. Coming from out of town?
