White snow blankets
the ground
creating a winter wonderland
Carolers sing loudly
as they walk through
the neighborhood
Spreading holiday cheer
for all to hear
inside we sit
by the crackling fire
its all my heart desires
The vibrant
lights twinkle
as they illuminate
the night
I feel the spirit of cheery
Christmas time fill my heart
knowing that we will never be
