Dear Lucas and Peyton (Seasons 1 & 5),
I get that you have this undying love for each other. This perfect or almost perfect connection of, to quote Haley, “tortured artist meets tortured athlete”. I get it. Okay? However, try not to burn other people with your fiery love. If you’re meant to be together and you can’t bear to be apart, that’s all fine. Just stop betraying other people on your to true love, or whatever you want to call it. Example. Season one, you made out, on many occasions, behind Brooke’s back and then claimed you never meant to hurt her. Are you idiots or something? How could you cheat on someone and then not realize that you were hurting them? I’ll tell you how, you were too wrapped up in yourselves to notice, to care. Because you didn’t care. If you had, then you wouldn’t have cheated in the first place. Lucas, did you not realize how much you meant to Brooke? Peyton, did you not get it through your whiny, depressed skull that Brooke finally found a guy she cared about? No, because neither of you cared about anybody but your selves. Example 2: Cheating on Lindsey. Peyton, if Lucas broke up with you, that does not give you the right to kiss him when he’s ENGAGED because you still love him, it doesn’t matter how epic, or whatever, your love was before Lindsey. You need to learn that the world doesn’t revolve around your love for Lucas. Just because you don’t like Lindsay/think you and Lucas should still be together, doesn’t give you the right to kiss him when he’s engaged to someone else.
And Luke, what the hell are you doing? You’re ENGAGED! If you love Lindsey, as you claim, then don’t kiss Peyton back! Even if you don’t really love her, you’re still engaged to her, so don’t kiss her back! Just because Peyton kissed you doesn’t mean you have to kiss her back. Seriously, Lucas you wore attached both times you decide to make out with someone else. Stop being a cheater. And Peyton, realize Lucas is not with you. Season one he was with Brooke and season five he was with Lindsey. Both of you, get the world fidelity through your thick skulls.
Thanks.
