Fall Beer Events in Portland Oregon

More people brew their own beer in Portland than any other city. In fact, there are more domestic breweries in the city of portland than any other city. So naturally, these top brewers want to show off what they are made of. Two local events are happening soon. All participants must be 21 years of age to attend, and the breweries would also like to remind you to drink and drive responsibly.

KillerBeerFest- This event will be taking place on October 22,2011 at 4PM at Bailey’s Taproom at 213 SW Broadway, Portland, OR. This will be the third year in running for the KillerBeerFest and people are excited. There are 23 local breweries from Portland and the surrounding area submitting their new fall beers for the season. There are some very good choices, and new ones that people are surprised to see on the menu. Night of the Living Ales- Being held on October 29th and 30th from 8PM to 1 AM, Night of the Living Ales is being held at the Burnside Brewing Co. located at 701 E. Burnside Portland, OR 97214. This over 21 Halloween event is offering 8 different brews from 7 Portland breweries. The party will be held inside the brewery warehouse with an adjacent beer garden. As entertainment, local Portland bands Boy Eats Drum Machine and Aesthetic Junkies will be playing while a sexy burlesque Halloween show will be performed by Meghan Mayham and Hai Fleisch from Rose City Shimmy. Costumes are encouraged by not required.
