Family Christmas Traditions

As a child the most precious memories for me was Thanksgiving weekend when we would put up the decorations and tree. Sometimes my mother would start the week before since we had so many decorations and ornaments. By the time I was thirteen we would put up two trees. The one downstairs was where my mother hung all the ornaments we made through out the years while the one upstairs held the heirloom and keepsake ornaments. Both trees were special and gorgeous in their own way.

If you are looking for a Christmas tradition to share with your children and to pass down to your grandchildren then purchasing or creating hand-crafted keepsake ornaments is a memorable tradition. If your not the crafty type then there are many different types of keepsake ornaments you can purchase. I’ve put together a list of a few that are easy to find, affordable, and will go with any Christmas theme.
