There are so many scandals when it comes to celebrities that it is refreshing when good news is announced. Many celebrities welcomed their first bundle of joy in 2011. A new baby can add such happiness during the holiday seasons. This Thanksgiving these celebrities will be especially thankful because of their babies, and will be celebrating being a first-time parent.
Mariah Carey
On April 30, 2011, Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon welcomed their twin son and daughter. This date is also the couple’s wedding anniversary. The couple named their daughter Monroe after Marilyn Monroe, who is an inspiration for Carey. They named their son Moroccan after a room decorated in this style of decor, and it is also the room where Cannon proposed to Carey. Carey and Cannon will certainly have their hands full this Thanksgiving.
Pink
On June 2, 2011, edgy singer Pink gave birth to a little girl named Willow Sage Hart. Pink is married to Carey Hart, and it is the first child for the couple. Pink and Hart got married in January 2006, then separated in 2008. They got back together in 2009. Pink getting back together with her husband and giving birth to their beautiful little girl Willow, should make this an especially joyous Thanksgiving for their family.
Alyssa Milano
Actress Alyssa Milano and husband David Bugliari welcomed a baby boy named Milo on August 31, 2011. This is the couples first child. Milano is best know for her role on ‘Who’s the Boss?’ and ‘Charmed.’ Bugliari and Milano were married in August 2009. One thing for sure is Milano won’t be eating turkey this Thanksgiving. She is advertised in Peta’s ad as one of the 20 celebrities going vegetarian and turkey-free this year.
January Jones
‘Mad Men’ January Jones gave birth to son Xander on September 13, 2011. The father of the baby is a mystery, and was left off the birth certificate. Jones had a role in the movies ‘Anger Management’ and ‘American Wedding.’ Jones used to date Ashton Kutcher and Josh Groban. Hopefully, Jones and Xander will have a special Thanksgiving with his mystery dad.
Jane Krakowski
On April 13, 2011, ’30 Rock’ Jane Krakowski and clothing designer Robert Godley welcomed a baby boy named Bennett. This is the first baby for the couple. Jane Krakowski is famous for her character Elaine Vassal on ‘Ally McBeal.’ Krakowski also won a Tony Award for her role as Carla in the Broadway musical ‘Nine.’
