As a mother of two young boys and a full-time teacher, busy doesn’t even begin to describe my life. When I’m not dressing, feeding, and rushing my kids from place to place, I’m commuting long distance to work and back, rushing to clean my house, and preparing lesson plans. Having reliable self-care products is essential, especially on those days when I’m at school from early morning until late at night.
Finding the right deodorant has always been difficult for me, particularly during pregnancy and following the birth of my two children. The hormonal changes a mother’s body endures can be horrendous. The last thing I want is to be caught in front of class or in a meeting with perspiration problems, which, in this line of work, can happen frequently. Nearly every deodorant product I’ve tried has given out at some point, usually when I need it most: parent/teacher conferences, my child’s preschool holiday assembly, and the doctor’s office, for starters.
I expected Secret Clinical Strength for Sensitive Skin to be no different. It seemed only logical that the issue was with me and my body, not the products I was trying. Thankfully, I was wrong. I’m happy to report that Secret works better than anything I’ve tried.
To my surprise, I stay dry all night and day. For someone as on-the-go as me, this is rare. Not even rushing into work just before the bell, heavy bag of papers in tow, causes me to break a sweat.
Equally as important, Secret doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I can’t even use scented moisturizer without breaking into a rash. With Secret, though, my skin remains smooth, soft, and rash-free, even after shaving.
Perhaps the most exciting? I smell great. This should be the rule, not the exception, but for so long, I’ve had to tote extra deodorant and body spray around to make myself tolerable at the end of a long day. Not with Secret. This product has a subtle, fresh scent that lasts from my first period class to my kids’ bath time at night. I’m guessing my students and family are as happy about this as I am.
As a busy mom with a full-time job and non-stop schedule, finding the right products to work with my changing body has been troublesome, to say the least. Thankfully, Secret Clinical Strength for Sensitive Skin works for me, and I encourage my fellow active moms in need a refresher to give it a try.
