Make a statement with your powder room. It is such a small space that it doesn’t take much to make a big impact. Choose a theme, such as nautical, a bold color scheme or a period style. Victorian is a good choice if you live in an older house with traditional decorations. For a contemporary home, perhaps a bold color scheme–lime green with white accents, for example–will make a statement about your fun personality.

Perhaps a complete remodel doesn’t fit into your budget. There are some smaller changes you can make to give the room a different look. For example, swap out the boring sink for a decorative vessel bowl. Hang Hollywood lights above your mirror, sculptural sconces on each side, or replace the fixtures for new ones to change it up a bit.
