Walk to End Alzheimer’s, 2011

The time is here for people across America to walk, raising awareness of Alzheimer’s and funds for research to end this horrible disease. This is near and dear to my heart as I lost my mother to Alzheimer’s in 2004. You can read my personal story here: Diagnosis Alzheimer’s: My Mother, My Friend . Writing it was hard. Reading it today still brings tears to my eyes. I long for an end to this devastating illness.
