The movies listed above are not appropriate for children of any age. That’s all the more reason for adults to watch them after hours. For those of you who enjoy horror films, my selections are based on movies I’ve watched myself and movie titles I discovered during reasearch for this article. Most of these movies are really frightening. Anyone interested in kinda scary or not scary at all, you might try watching Misery, King Kong or Dr. Jeckell and Mr. Hide or Demonseed.
Demonseed is based on a novel by Dean Koontz. The movie is old. It’s sort of a B Movie and it’s about a house run by a computer. The system takes over and holds the lady of the house hostage. It’s for sure interesting to note that the storyline was written before the home computer became popular.
Secret Window is probably my favorite one on the list. For Johnny Depp fans, this is a must see movie. It’s not particularly scary, but it is a thriller with a mystery unravelling all the way to the end. Just watch it to find out if you haven’t already seen it.
Caution with House of a Thousand Corpses, it’s very graphic in nature. Some people will watch it for the purpose of shock value , a few will tolerate it just to be watching a movie and others will freak out. Rob Zombie doesn’t make fluffy bunny movies.
Weird Warning : These movies do not depict reality. They are for entertainment only.
