A: Choose fresh fruit instead. Yogurt has a tendency to be a rather deceptive food. It seems to be healthy on the surface, but in truth it contains an excess of sugar. Yoplait yogurt certainly does have an unhealthy amount of sugar. If you are going to eat sugar in such a high concentration you might as well opt for something more satisfying like a small bowl of ice cream and treat it as an occasional ‘indulgence’. Most brands of yogurt are awfully high in sugar content so I suggest you buy plan Greek yogurt and add some fresh fruit such as strawberries or blueberries to create a healthful and nutritionally beneficial snack.
