Q: Since last week I have been eating lots of high sodium food, like instant noodles, powdered soups, etc. The soup had 39% sodium per serving. I put enough powder for 4 servings, but boiled it for a bit longer than I was supposed to, and it ended up being 3 servings of which I ate two. Q: May 24’th is my works trip to a water park. That will be the end of 4 months of exercising for me. Im down 31 pounds so far with 20 more to go. I know i probably cant lose 20, but i want to lose as much as possible. I dont eat much sugar now, just the sugar in bread and artificial sugars from diet drinks and 0-calorie sweetener. I do consume high sodium foods though semi -often. If i were to cut out sugar, artificial sugar, and high sodium foods while exercising 5 times a week for an hour can i cut my weight down by then?

I know this sounds crazy, but I thought I was eating healthy until I met my husband. He was into bodybuilding years before we met, and he educated me on nutrition. I ran all the time, but I still couldn’t lose weight. Once I stopped eating processed foods with chemicals and preservatives, I lost about 25 lbs. It’s been over a year since I dropped the weight, and I haven’t gained more than 5 lbs back. Usually it’s just water weight.
