What are some meals I can eat every day that can help me lose weight?
Q: I haven’t begun excersizing yet, but I think if I just change my diet, I can lose some weight. I’m pretty much eating take-out every day. What are some easy to cook meals that are low in calories and fat and will fill me? I know grilled chicken breast is good, right?
A: try this one1) Cook your food without any food oil try to use boiled/steamed vegetables, meat, and lot of salad. U can eat fruits too and boiled/steamed chicken or red meat too but no pork.2) Potato is strictly forbidden during this diet3) Don’t eat any type of junk food.4) Drink at least 3 ltr of water daily. Make ur habit to drink water as much as u can6) use brown bread6) use skimmed and low fat milk and yogurt7) no sugar of any type.8) drink diet pepsi if u like. but just one glass once a day.U can eat vegetable soap too as much as u can but no corn flour in it. Just cooked 9) if u feel hungry then divide ur diet into 5-6 healthy meals a day (1 plate size only) at least take this diet for 3 to 6 months and when u fell that u have achieved your desired weight then make ur eating life style as told above but occasionally u can take other junk food too.the best indoor exercise machine is tread mill. run on tread mill for at least 30 mntns daily. and try to extend ur period for one hour.hope u got the right answer. if u have any query send me an email try yahoo.
Anyone else trying to lose some weight?
Q: So I’ve recently bought an elliptical cross trainer and so far I manage about 20 mins a day (I’ve only been at it about 3 or 4 days) before I near have a heart attack. 🙂 What I’m wondering is, should I maybe try and work out more than once a day? Will 2 sets of 20 mins be as good as 1 set of 40 mins? Also if anyone has experience with using an elliptical to lose weight….please tell me an inspirational story. I am in bad need of a ‘Rocky’ moment. How long you reckon it’ll be before I start seeing a difference in my body?Ok, so the last thing I wanted to ask is about simple low calorie meals. I’ve tried googling that but everything I find seems ridiculously complicated. I’m not a good cook truth be told, cereal being the one thing I’ve managed to master, so if anyone can give me genuinely easy things to throw together I’d really appreciate it. Oh and also….what’s the latest time one should eat? Some people are saying 5pm others say 8pm so if anyone has a new time to throw into the mix then go for it.Finally, to all those who take the time to read this and possibly answer thank you for your time, I appreciate all answers, and I especially appreciate them from anyone in the same situation as me. Hopefully we’ll all manage to retain the will power we need to get off that excess weight. Best of luck.
A: any exercise is good, it will help you burn calories. as far as eating you do not have to be a great cook, salads are great, grilled chicken, cook until juices run clear and meat is not pink anymore. if you eat lean meats and veggies and stay away from carbs this will help you lose. drink water, i know it doesn’t sound good but it does help you flush your system and i have done this and it will help you burn more calories, the colder the better as you body will ‘heat’ up and burn more calories trying to get you to normal body temp.try and eat five or six small meals a day instead of three bigger meals this helps you body continue to burn all day instead of having times that you body is hungry waiting for the next meal.this works, as your body is always burning calories. as far as when you will see a difference in your body, that is really hard to say as everyone loses at different rates, but if you keep it up within a month things should start to be noticed!and i always try and eat my last meal by 6pm and then just drink water after that, I’m still fighting the good fight but have lost 17lbs since Christmas. you have to stick with it and watch what you eat. i do not use an elliptical but walk quickly at the gym and when nice enough outside. I hope this has helped you, keep it up and good luck! 🙂
I desperately want to lose weight and nothing is working my calories are so low that i feel like crap all time?
Q: I’ve asked this question before but cant seem to get past all the spam about acai berry and other diets so I’ll ask again and hope someone has a similar situation or some useful advice. I’m 28, 5’2″ and last i checked 166lbs. According to my BMI im obese. If u saw my picture you wouldnt think of me as obese but all my doctors tell me i need to lose weight now or risk health problems in the future. I was taking Celexa for anxiety and depression for the last 2 years and thats when i noticed the major weight packing on. I got off that and felt like crap so my doctor put me on wellbutrin cuz you arent supposed to gain weight and some lose weight. I’ve been on it 2 weeks and haven’t lost or gained anything. I’m also on Seasonal for birth control and have been on that for 4 years. Now as of 3 months ago i have a period that won’t stop. as of 2 months ago when i noticed i had really gotten big I began running, going to the gym doing bikes, elipticals, and light weights. I go 3 times a week for an hour cuz i work 3 jobs and that’s all the time i can spend. I also do cardio daily at home with crunches, light weights, and tension bands. I had been doing this for 2 months and when i stepped on the scale i had actually gained weight. I’m also on a strict diet. Low calorie, low fat, low sodium foods at only 1500 calories a day. i try to eat small meals throughout the day. fruit and granola in the morning, salad or lean cuisine for lunch, grilled chicken veggies and a small amount of rice for dinner, with small snacks of fruit or nuts in between. I always feel puky and hungry at the same time ( could be a side effect of the wellbutrin) In any case i’m working out hard and dietting. According to this calorie calculator i found, I burn over 3000 calories a day at work, at home, working out, and sleeping. So if i’m only eating 1500 why am i still gaining weight? I’ve had my thyroid tested, my metabolism, my blood tested for anything that is causing this and nothing is wrong. I’m not pregnant. I want to lose this weight, i feel gross, my clothes no longer fit, my pictures look horrible and i feel like i’m trying everything. It’s only been 2 weeks since i started the wellbutrin so it may not be enough time to tell what the pill is doing. I don’t want to go off it cuz i get anxious and depressed but i’m tired of gaining the 20lbs a year i seemed to be gaining. I don’t know what else to do, i don’t feel i’m slacking off exercising by any means. I sweat horribly, and keep my heart rate between 115 -150. I just wish someone could give me some helpful advice or tell me that they’ve been through this and there is a way. If you were on celexa or started wellbutrin and lost weight how long did it take? Or could it be the birth control pill and something to do with my 3 month period. Everyone says i’m retaining water, should i try a water pill, i looked and they all have caffine which i’m not supposed to have with the wellbutrin. I’m so lost. I have no insurance and despite 3 jobs its hard to have to pay 200-500 out of pocket to see a doctor. I go when i can, but in the meantime someone with any info please help.I do walk a lot at my main work. I’m a surgical assistant so a majority of my 10 hour day is walking sometimes running from room to room.
A: Tough one.. Yes the bc Pill can assist to put weight on, its well known for it.I think rather that U have concentrated on a Diet so much with Low carb food, low fat etc. that U have “missed the mark” on what U actually need to eat and that is HIGH FIBER foods.Liked 3/4 weetbix for breakfast each day..(forget Granola)Brown bread salad sandwiches (lettuce/tomato/cheese any/grated carrot/cucumber/beetroot. Drink Tonic water or Soda water or Diet Coke..diet coke a well know assister for weight loss with a salad sandwich. NO scones, NO flour products, no sugary foods, but do drink black tea with one teaspoon of brown sugar.Always brown/raw sugar never white. In the morning, prior to the weetbix..take two teaspoons of enos fruit salts (whatever u may call it in the states if thats where u are) wait5 mins then drink half cup of black tea.(unsweetened).eat the weetbox about half hour later. Keep this all up for at least two weeks.Eat salads or stews at night (low in fat meat) dont thicken the stews. dont use lamb/mutton ever. DONT eat salted corn beef from the butcher.During the day, eat oranges or bananas..suggest bananas.Do not eat cakes/burgers/..or any processed type foodsDont eat chips of any description..keep away from sugary jams, except on two pieces of brown bread as a sandwich. When I say brown bread I mean brown bread (wholemeal)NOT the Grain type.I realise that much will rely on your ability to afford things.Even Vegs/Salads COST these days.FOOL your grocer..ask if they have the cuttings from cabbage/celery/lettuce etc, out the back..tell them u want to feed the chickens..then take them home..wash them and put in stews. (put the Rice in the stews)Believe me, plenty of Australians do JUST that.Walking is good. NO need to go down the road..walk a few kilometres (miles.. around your yard..your rooms). When people go on Diets they forget something..when U eat a certain amount of sodium added foods, you need also to eat a little sugar foods also. Now I know I said NO sugar foods, but take that as i meant it in moderation..AND I know about that one..the one about Wellbutrin supposedly assisting U to lose weight. Yeah ??AT least, Hope my Answer makes U feel better[FootNote] In your Job, walking (or the rapid step) from room to room is NOT enough and doesnt even count. What I mean in walking is walking for 10/15 to 30 mins around the house/yard/rooms BUT in a CONSTANT, NEVER stopping, and therefore getting that heart rate UP. Realise THIS can beat first, exhausting, BUT, IF U are limited to obtain exercise, and gyms etc. cost money, then the simple choice is the best choice. Your decision. I have KNOWN it to work effectively..as not only the heart rate goes up, but the sweat rolls.
