I read that over-indulgence in drinking alcohol can cause kidney failure-how does this happen?
Q: A book on kidney dialysis. They mentioned that in one paragraph, but that was all. That got me curious…
A: the kidneys act as one of the detoxifiers (the other is liver) of your body. it gets rid of all the bad chemicals in you. and by drinking too much alcohol (which is a poison), it works your kidneys too hard, and eventually kills it off. however, the occasional night out drinking is nothing to worry about. but people who chronically go binge drinking or have an addiction to that or drugs are more prone to kidney failure.
how long does it take for a urinary tract infection 2 turn into a kidney failure I went 5 days before meds?
Q: once I was able to see a doctor it was 2 days before i had meds thats why it took so long…Cipro oral supension.. many pharmacy’s i called did not have this…one pharmy cound get it the nxt day and they were able to take a CC over the phone…Now i have to just get better and watch for any adverse effects.
A: Urinary tract infections usually show improvement with in the first 48 hours of being on the meds. If you are still having pain or it gets worse contact your Dr. immediately. Lots of fresh water will help you over come it faster. Yes you will pee a lot but that’s the idea, to flush out your system. the medication may change the color of your urine, don’t let that scare you its supposed to do that. Your Dr. Even if it took a little while to get your meds, you would have had much earlier symptoms that would have brought you back to the ER, like pain, crystals in the urine blood in the urin….ext. But like I said get to a Dr. if your pain has not decrease or if it gets worse while on the meds.
