Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Nashville, TN

St. Patrick’s day is a great holiday to help bring in the spring. It’s always a good excuse to let go and have a good time, spend time with family or just be outdoors. Nashville TN, offers all kinds of great activities to help people of all ages celebrate.

If you’re looking to party, Dan McGuinness is the place to be. You can get things started early with Kegs and Eggs and then carry the party late into the night. Dan McGuineess Irish Pub is located on Demonbreun Street which also features several other popular bars. Tickets for the event are between $10 and $15 and festivities begin Saturday, March 17th at 9:00 am.

If family fun is more your style then check out the Go Green hike at the Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary. A great opportunity to wear your green and search for green as hikers will try to spot four leaf clovers, blooming plants and even frogs. Pay in advance for only $7 a person or pay $10 at the gate. Event lasts from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, March 17th.

For those wanting to bring in the spring burning calories have a go at the Tin Roof’s annual Keg and Egg’s 5k. This is a quick run down historic Music Row in Nashville ending at the Tin Roof where runners are met with beer and breakfast and swag. Register before the end of this month for only $25 or register during the month of March for $35. If you wait until race day, the price jumps to $40. Race begins Saturday, March 17th at 8am.
