Instructions:

Place a clay pot on newsprint for each child. Provide paint, paint brushes, and leaves to begin these fall Bible crafts. Ask kids to pick a leaf and lay it flat on newsprint. Have kids paint the leaves with a thin coat. Kids can use painted leaves like stamps, making leaf prints on clay pots. Allow kids to choose different leaves and repeat steps 4 and 5 until colorful leaves cover clay pots. Let pots dry. Wipe hands and spilled paint. Assist children in filling bottom of pot with craft foam. Show children how to glue plastic fruits and vegetables in place to create an overflowing harvest for these fall Bible crafts.
Provide a printed Galatians 6:9 Bible verse to each child. Invite children to glue Bible verse on clay pots.

Alternatives for Craft

You can make different types of centerpieces or decor by filling the pot with artificial or real autumn flowers like mums. You could also glue a single gourd or small pumpkin to the top of each pot instead of various types of fruits and vegetables.
