Fans of Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers May Get into Jonathan Jeter and the Revelators

Jonathan Jeter and the Revelators’ new CD, “Late To My Own Funeral,” is a solid rock/country effort that adds some southern flair from such bands like The Wallflowers.

What’s nice about “Late To My Own Funeral” is the lyrical storytelling that makes fans feel like they’re apart of the same journey as Jeter.

Jeter bears his soul on songs such as “Come On” and “Barfly” and you can honestly tell that he is passionate in his music. The band may not get the commercial recognition as Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers but there is argument that Jonathan Jeter and the Revelators could be just as good.

“Late To My Own Funeral” drops January 2012.
