Finally Realizing

I already had my car packed up and ready to go, all I had to do was tell them. I was finally moving out of my parents’ house, already put the down payment for my apartment, and they didn’t know a thing. I didn’t think they would care it wasn’t like they were ever home anyway, they wouldn’t even miss me. It was eight o’clock in the morning when I went into the living room where they both were and told them. Once I told them I was leaving I saw the most disappointed faces ever from them, and that’s when I realized they really did care all along.
