Mini marshmallows, gingerbread,
Twinkling lights on display
Morning snow crunching below,
Children’s laughter, Santa’s sleigh
Carolers bundled in frost bitten clothes,
Singing their merry songs into the night
Neighbors offer fresh cups of hot cocoa,
Warming my heart with delight
Fresh pine and cinnamon fill the air,
Families adorning their tree
The various hues of the wintry season,
Holds a gift for both you and for me
With love in our hearts, we are light as a sprig,
Small as children in our father’s arms
For whenever Christmas approaches,
It graces the world with a wondrous charm.
