Memphis fans of alternative rock should not let this opportunity pass them by. “Pixies” will be performing a concert at the Orpheum Theater. For those unfamiliar with the band, they had a huge impact on the rise of alternative music in the 90s- including inspiring the likes of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. The band reunited in 2004 and their string of sold-out shows has landed them a live performance at the Orpheum at 8:00 p.m.
