Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede dinner show is one of the first and most popular dinner shows in Pigeon Forge, TN. Dixie Stampede has other locations, so it has an established reputation as a quality dinner show. Dolly’s name is in the title, but the show is fast pace horse riding, close quarter competition and a touch of humor. Dixie Stampede doesn’t hand out silverware, so if you’re a picky person who would care, bring a plastic fork with you. Food is portioned throughout the show and seating is on long benches facing the arena. You become part of a fierce battle between the North and South. Adult tickets are around $50.

The Smith Family Theater has made their place in Pigeon Forge, TN. A fun show of music and country humor, the Smiths like to mix it up. Catering to the demands of bigger shows, they now offer a buffet with the show if you would like breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have also added a larger gift shop and feature other performing stars from time to time. They have two different shows and tickets range around $40 for adults. The Smith’s are down to earth folks happy to talk to fans after the show and love to entertain.

Formerly Black Bear Jamboree (when I worked there), Hatfield & McCoy Dinner show is still a David Fee production offering a grand performance with talented artist. Different menu than before, it’s now a fried chicken dinner with country music, dancing and dueling banjos. In the morning, the Blackwood Brothers still perform for a breakfast Jamboree at 9am. Since they own many of the surrounding shows you can find a decent price when you purchase two or three shows together from the box offices. They have two shows for $60.00 usually this time of year including a dinner show and a smaller production like Comedy Barn.

Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show is the latest to the area, but with an amazing new $10 million dollar arena the word is traveling fast. This show offers authentic competition between true ESPN featured lumberjacks battling it out in survival situations. Rolling logs and swinging axes has gotten the Lumberjack Feud many thumbs up. The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show is one of my favorites. Located in front of the blue roof mall off Teaster Ave in Pigeon Forge, TN this dinner show is entertaining and thought provoking for those of us who like a little mystery with our meals. Serving up drama at its best, the Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Show has some of the best food of the dinner shows, interactive fun, and comedy. There are four different shows they perform, so when returning to Pigeon Forge you can book a different show. The show takes place inside a medium sized room and the action is all around you. This is not the place for bad kids or babies, because it could ruin the show.
