Week 12 NFL Game Predictions

Thanks for checking out my free week 12 NFL game predictions for the 2011 season. I went 6-6 last week not counting the Monday Night Game bringing my 2011 game predicting record to 103 and 51 if my math is correct. Click here to see how bad I am getting my butt kicked in the 2011 YCN NFL games predicting contest.

These free week 12 NFL game predictions are suitable for you office football pool. I do not do point spread predictions but will answer questions about the spread in the comments below.

Thanksgiving Day Game Predictions

Green Bay at Detroit

Both teams are coming off close games to less talented opponents. Can the Green Bay Packers remain undefeated? Can the Detroit Lions show they can run with the big boys? On a short week for both teams I tend to like the home team but not against Green Bay and with Stafford sporting a broken finger. Green Bay defeats the Lions on Thanksgiving Day by the score of 41 to 35.

Miami at Dallas

The Cowboys should let Leon Lett play one down in this game to redeem himself. This game looked like a stinker a month ago but both Miami and Dallas are playing some improved football. Dallas wins at home 27 to 20.

San Francisco at Baltimore

The Harbaugh brothers battle it out in Baltimore when the 49ers head to town. San Francisco travels well and I don’t trust the Ravens to be consistent. My Thanksgiving night prediction is the 49ers win 17 to 13.

Free Week 12 Sunday Predictions

Buffalo at the New York Jets

Two crappy teams battle it out to see who is worse; I like the Jets at home to win 24 to 13.

Arizona at St. Louis

Two more crappy teams so when in doubt go with the home team. Rams win 14 to 10.

Tampa Bay at Tennessee

We may see the first career start for Jake Locker if Hasselbeck is still injured. The Bucs showed some heart against the Packers and the Titans are playing decently. I like Tampa to win 24 to 21.

Carolina at Indianapolis

The Panthers can score on any team in the NFL but any team in the league can score on them as well. The Colts suck and if they win this year, it will be this game. Not going to happen. Carolina wins 28 to 24.

Minnesota at Atlanta

The Vikings may be without Adrian Peterson and thus their chances at a win. Even with AP I would pick Atlanta at home to win 27 to 20.

Cleveland at Cincinnati

The battle for Ohio! The Browns suck but every year knock somebody off that they should not. The Bengals are playing well but are a little banged up. I like Cleveland to get the upset 20 to 17,

Houston at Jacksonville

No Matt Schaub for the Texans as they take on a hot and cold Jacksonville team. I like the Texans running game more than the Jags rookie quarterback. Houston wins 17 to 13.

Washington at Seattle

Seattle knocked off a bad Rams team and Washington took the hot Cowboys to overtime before losing last week. I like the Redskins with Grossman more than Seattle with Jackson. My free week 12 football pool pick is the Redskins win 24 to 20.

Chicago at Oakland

The Bears were one of the hottest teams in the NFL until Jay Cutler broke his thumb last week. The Raiders have a good offense but a bad defense. I like the Bears to run Forte down Oakland’s throat to the tune of a 17 to 14 win.

New England at Philadelphia

The Eagles backs are against the wall and New England is playing very well on offense. Banged up Eagles lose to the Patriots by the score of 38 to 28.

Denver at San Diego

Tim Tebow brings the spread option to San Diego to face a Chargers team that is disinterested in winning. Denver wins 20 to 17.

Pittsburgh at Kansas City

This could be a trap game if the Chiefs are fired up to play after losing Matt Cassel for the year. I don’t see Tomlin letting the Steelers get flat though. Pittsburgh 27, Kansas City 10.

Week 12 Monday Night Prediction

New York Giants at New Orleans

The Giants are coming off an embarrassing loss on prime time television and the Saints are off a bye. Bye teams tend to play flat this year and the Giants will be pissed off. Giants knock off the Saints 27 to 23.
