Q: I heard this somewhere. And I don’t mean cause you to eat more calories and gain weight (because that can be controlled by willpower). I just mean lack of sleep itself.

Q: I read an article recently stating that when people don’t sleep enough regularly, they tend to be more overweight. Is this because when we don’t sleep enough we over-eat, or is it because something in our body that triggers to store more fat (or something like that) because we don’t get enough sleep?
A: maybe it’s indirect like people who don’t sleep enough tend to not exercise because they don’t have enough energy to do so? or because we don’t have the energy to avoid eating cake and french fries
