I think it is average or at least pretty close to average. I wouldn’t worry about it at all. Often I wish I was shorter, I am 5’11” and love shoes lol but if I wear heals I am taller then EVERYONE!

Q: Yeah. My 14 year old cousin is 5’7 and she is very upset about how she “towers” over all her friends. She says she would rather be 5’2 and feel small. Well coming from a 20 year old guy who is over 6’1 I still view her as being small, but she won’t listen to me. She wants to know if she will ever be considered just average for a girl her height. I told her that it’s unlikely since only men are increasing in height not women, and that the average would stay at 5’2 for a white female. She’s a red headed girl who looks very cute(DON’T TAKE THAT THE WRONG WAY PEOPLE!!) I don’t think she has to worry about ever finding a husband, because I’m sure that lots of guy like tall girls. I Think she needs to ignore her height all together. She does not own a single pair of heeled shoes, only shoes that are very flat. I think she should start wearing heels like the rest of her friends do on occasion. Can you give me some encouraging words for her? Are you finding that young girls are getting to be 5’7 much more often than they used to?How can she embrace the fact that she is a tall girl?

A: Im 16, and im around 5’11something rediculous like that. and i never wear heels, she could pull them off.random people in stores come up and ask me how tall i am, and proceed to tell me i should play basketball or be a modelhahaanyways, tell her she really is a pretty average height for a girl. everyone grows at different rates, and has growth spurts at different ages. if shes taller than most kids now, just give it time, soon most guys will be towering over her. thats a promise. and beiong short, isnt always a blast.i know alot of guys who said bending down to kiss girls that were 5’1 got old after a while. and she’ll have more opportunities in alot of sports, being tall, plus in big crowds, she wont be trampled or not able to see anything. :)Tell her to own what she has, shes really the perfect height.

A: Yes, your size is perfectly average. But, I think you are on the skinny side. No, your size will not be a huge problems with girls. 🙂 But, I tend to look more at the personality of the guy, than his looks.
