A: Yes you will reach your goal. As you probably know you need to ‘burn’ more calories than you consume. And to burn 1lb you need to burn 3500 calories. Sounds alot don’t it lol. That’s why most professionals say 1-2lbs per week. It is a realistic goal, without busting your guts 24/7 for months on end ( which mentally is unsustainable) The more muscle tissue you have the faster your body burns calories whilst exercising and at rest. To build muscles you need to do weight training and also increase your protein intake (healthy protein sources-fish, lean meat etc) Weight training doesn’t mean building muscles like body builders, but it does make you stronger, leaner, toned etc.Dont worry about HOW much weight you are losing. Just get into a positive frame of mind and tell yourself you want to do this to be healthy. It helped me. As long as your weight is going down, your doing a great job.Hope this helps : )
