Sick on the first day of classes?!! Please help.?

Q: I am starting classes this morning (college) and I have a fever, sore throat, achy all over, and a stomach ache. I have to go because a lot of teachers will drop you if you aren’t there on the first day. I took a couple of advil and drank a glass of orange juice which all hasn’t started to kick in but I still feel like I can barely move and I have to get ready. I hate this so much… what can I do to make this better? I’m going to be there from 9am-1pm will the advil be enough?

A: I’m not sure if the advil will be enough, but if you can get a hold on some tea and lemon then go ahead and squeeze a whole lemon in the tea and drink it once or twice a day for 2 to 3 days… it’s also great if you feel like your starting to get a cold or a sore throat to go a head and take some anti histamine and drink the tea and lemon.

A: Honey, I know you really want to go but you have to ask yourself, if you do go, are you even going to have a good time? If you’re sick you should stay home. You don’t know if you’re contagious or not and it wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the people at the party to be infected with your germs.
