Q: when I was a kid we played with cars in the dirt, making roads and jumps etc…Tonka Trucks were best. we dug tunnels(how dangerous was that) and probably ate some dirt now and then(getting our faces pushed into it by the bullies etc). we climbed trees(fell out) rode bikes(fell off) jumped rope and played kick the can and when we were stuck inside cause of rain we read a book for goodness sake…..what happened to all of these activities? it seems like todays kids just want to play with keyboards, joy sticks and remote controls. what good is technology if just makes us fat and lazy? how can we get our kids to start moving again?
