I don’t think his flu is related to your cold. He could have gotten food poisoning, or he could have a viral stomach flu. But if he was to catch an illness from you it would be your cold. If he wasn’t vomiting or anything at your house then…

Could I be pregnant? Have had period for two weeks, am feeling sick, read inside for more details.?
Q: I know, I know, only way to tell is the doctor or a pregnancy test and not yahoo answers, but I’m mostly looking for anecdotes/the off chance I might get someone that knows what they’re talking about (as both the doctor and a pregnancy test are not something I’m going to do right this moment, but using the internet is).I’ve been on birth control for over a year, and have only experienced breakthrough bleeding a couple of times– when I first started, and when I switched to a new one. I’ve been on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo and even when I switched, have not once had breakthrough bleeding on it. I’m usually horribly anal about taking my pills, too– I take them right on the dot at 10 pm, very rarely a minute later or earlier. This month, though, I missed a day in the first week (took it the next morning) and took more than a couple pills several hours late due to working late and me forgetting to put my BC in my purse.I had a regular period last month, but this month (i.e., the mess up with pills month) I started bleeding during the third week of active pills. I’m now at the end of the placebo pill week, and have just stopped bleeding. The blood I had wasn’t what I usually get– instead it was less heavy and the blood was older (it was all coming out brown, there was very little reddish blood). I’ve been feeling kind of sick and really worn out and have had a fever over the last few days– I figured it was just a cold coming on, but I’m really queasy today, and thinking about it, I’ve been more moody than normal.I’m just wondering if these could be symptoms of pregnancy– having GOTTEN a period instead of missing one is obviously not the norm, but I suppose it’s possible. It might all be coincidence– I’ve been subsisting on leftover lasagna and blueberry muffins for the last few days, and a coworker has been out sick with the stomach flu. I feel like my heart has been racing all day, but that might be a result of too little sleep, too much drug use, and the energy drink I had today (I normally don’t drink them).Anyway, thoughts? (also if anyone would like to actually chat with me about this, as this forum isn’t the best for a back-and-forth exchange, email me at zirfflestixx at gmail dot com).
A: it sounds like you are having a reaction to the pill and not pregnant. If you bled for 2 weeks and you were pregnant then there would be something wrong. IT sounds like you are either sick or you have a reaction to the pills you are taking. It does not sound like you are pregnant.

3 broken ribs, along with bad head cold, cough, and stomach flu, any home remedies?
Q: I already had the head cold from… and I’m now coughing up stuff. I went to the ER and have 3 broken ribs from a fall, and now I am throwing up from possible flu??? It could be the medicine they gave me (Hydromet). Any home remedies to feel better welcome. Thanks!
A: Yes the medication can cause nausea and vomiting.Concerning the three broken ribs, you need to practice deep breathing exercises.Take in deep breaths and hold them for several seconds. You need to cough also,to clear your lungs.I know it probably hurts, but you really need to do these to prevent further lung complications.I wish all the best:)
