- Q: I haven’t taken a test in about a week. That one was negative. Is there a chance it was too early? My husband and I want a baby so bad 🙁 My average cycle length is 33 days.. This cycle has been 44..so far. I checked it on a website and It said that because of my cycle length I would only be 5 weeks right now, is it possible to be 5 weeks and pregnant but still get a negative result? When should I test again and at what point should I just give up for this month? Also, I do not believe it is stress related, seeing that we have been trying for 7 months, I go through the same stresses every month without being this late. It shouldn’t be weight related, I weigh exactly the same no diet or exercise changes. I have not been sick- minus a little dizziness and nausea, but no flu or cold. Any thoughts?
- A: Yes, you could be pregnant, but it could be other medical problems. See your doctor to ensure there are no other health problems and get a blood test for pregnancy while you’re at the Doctor.Read this article regarding the different Pregnancy Tests, perhaps it will help you understand the different methods a little easier:http://pregnancy.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Blo…Best Wishes

- A: I am in similar boat; 7mnths trying, but my lsat period was 21st Aug…again no stress no diet change etc.All tests I have had done have been neg even a blood test by the doc, I am currently wait for an ultrasound to see what is happening as I never miss a mnths period never mind 2mnths and still no positive test result.I have read about women who never get a positive results until they are mnths pregnant, so whether I shud or not I am holding out to see if the scan brings a baby or not.Good luck to you, and since your have not had a period for over a mnth now I would say it is def ok to test as soon as you want to.
