breast cancer chanches of reoccuring in older women?

my mom had breast cancer in her 40’s. she was cancer free for 17 years when it came back in the other breast.she went through chemo and radiation and surgery again, mom was thin and weak after this bout of cancer.after getting to where she couldn’t eat and in horrible pain she was put in hospital for more test–which showed her cancer had also gone to her pancreas.she died 3 months later at age 63
