it is possible that u did pass it on to him..it only takes one time so tell him..
Yes you can. and it such a freakin scary thing babe. Take it from me. But listen. I understand. You should know that it is a REALLY low RISK if you werent in ur outbreak stage. But u know there is always that .000001 % chance that u may have passed it to him. Just take ur time. either tell him. or just make it a point for both of u guys to get tested. and then you will find out then.Contact me if you have anymore questions abou the subject boo.
HPV is easily transmitted with a condom as well. Its not so much a fluid exchange but any skin on skin down there.
All STD’s can be transmitted and it only takes one exposure to catch them. Tell him.
there is no accurate test for hpv for males and 30% of the paptests in woman doesnt show hpv..it is contracted skin to skin so one time can effect you.it can lay dormate in your body and be undetected.. Source(s):my daughter is my source..she had hpv went undetected contracted cervical cancer
you could have he needs to get tested
YES! Source(s):AMA
It is very possible he had it when he got tested. Most places do not and cannot test for HPV. Most men don’t show signs of it anyway so even though the doc may have told him he tested negative for everything does not mean he didn’t have HPV. If you have the type that causes genital warts and they are external its very possible that you spread it to him-if he didn’t already have it- even while using a condom. A condom does help with internal warts but not always with external ones. HPV is spread through skin to skin contact and not really bodily fluids. Chances are he does have hpv, and you may or may not have given it to him. HPV is a very complicated virus and its hard to tell when or where or from whom you got it. You will be ok, its not the end of the world but I do know it puts a damper on the sex life unfortunately. Maybe you could ask him to get checked again and specifically ask for a HPV DNA test which some places offer but not many. If he can’t get one of those make sure he knows he probably has it but it could be dormant in his body and never show up- but he will pass it to other women in the future unless he is with you forever. Just be careful and always do the right thing! You could have. You better tell him.
of course yu could have!
HPV can be passed by the moist skin around your gentials. It is possible that you might not have past it but just to be safe you need to tell him. And of course get treatment for yourself.
HPV is the number one transmitted STD. I’ve read about 75% – 80% of the world has it and most don’t even know about it.Usually girls find out they have it by having an abnormal pap smear. HPV causes abnormal cells to form, which can then turn into cervical cancer. It sounds like your boyfriend is lying about being checked though. There currently is no test for men to see if they have HPV or not. HPV can take years sometimes for anything to happen though. So, if he wasn’t your first you might have got it from some other guy, never had any symptoms, and passed it along to your current boyfriend. There are at least 30 different kinds of HPV and most don’t do anything or have any symptoms. Some kinds though can lead to cervical cancer, genital warts, and rectal cancer.I got HPV about 5 years ago and because of it I got cervical cancer about 2 years ago, and genital warts about 6 months ago. The point I’m trying to make is that it can take a while to find out if you have had it or not. It really depends if you were a virgin when you got with your boyfriend or you have had it, and just didn’t know.I hope that answered your question. Good luck!
