My mom does, she said it was from small pox vaccines.
Smallpox vaccine. They don’t give that anymore. It is considered eradicated.
many middle aged people do. they dont do it that way anymore
small pox vac.
Yes that was the small pox one!
I have one from my BCG vaccine its a scar.
My friend had to get a shot in university last year so that she could qualify as a nurse. I can’t recall what it was, but she’s got a massive lump on her arm still 12 months later!
small pox
I had one. But I’m 55 yrs old and it has faded with time.
My mom has one—it is a small pox vaccine scar.
Oh yeah, isn’t that terrible looking?I believe that was the mumps/measles/ruebolla shot wasn’t it?It’s the sign of our generation. Were you born in the 60’s?I work in a hospital and we’re constantly being poked for something and I had a m/m/r booster a couple of years ago. They say that people over 40 should get a booster shot. I felt sick for about 2 months afterward. So if it was the m/m/r shot that left us scarred for life, the booster isn’t too much fun neither.
i do hunni, i think it was the crap that they did in the 70’s, lord only knows what was in it yes.
Small pox. It’s not just one shot. It’s many pin pricks. It was mandatory until 1971 when it became optional. My older sisters have it, but my brother and I do not.
People who received the smallpox vaccine 25 to 75 years ago have that markKids born during the mid-1970s never received the shot. Thankfully (I guess), I still have the little mark on my upper left arm from my smallpox shot.
My hubby has it but I don’t. It is scary what we allow to be put in our bodies isn’t it.

I suppose everyone born before 1980s will have a larger scar ( about the size of a US quarter coin) which is smallpox vaccine mark. Smallpox vaccination has now been stopped as Smallpox is eradicated from the world.A very scar (smaller than a dime) usually is the BCG scar(vaccine given to protect you from tuberculosis).Which is yours? These marks are seen because the injections are given intradermally that is in the deeper layers of skin… where as most other vaccines are given deeper down intra muscularly(muscles) and therefore have no tell-tale marks like BCG and Smallpox.
I do.They stopped doing that at some point because small pox was no longer a problem. Therefore, it’s only us middle aged or older folks who have them.
Yep, I have one. It is a small pox vacination scar. I still remember the sore that the vacine caused. It was quite ugly.
You bet!
It wasThe needles little ones got for school for smallpox and it was changed so that it would not leave the scar in 1977 in Canada anyway
