Glioblastoma multiforme Grade 4 astrocytoma?

My brother has Gliomatosis Cerebri and I have heard about glioblastomas. They affect the same cells i think (gliol cells and astrocytes)

http://brain.mgh.harvard.edu/PatientGuide.htm is a good site for more info, this is a brain tumour, grade 4 malignant, 5% survival after first year, usually causes death in the first 6-8 months of diagnosis, my husband made it to 8 months. astro whaaat??
