2011 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Sleepers

As with all positions picking those late round sleepers is the key to winning in fantasy football. Well, I’ve already given you my top wide receivers, but here are my best sleeper bets for the upcoming 2011 fantasy football season.

#1 Plaxico Burress
This guy has all the physical tools still and can hurt you deep as well as over the middle. I think he will be a starter for the Jets and even in that run first offense he could see the ball quite a bit. With Santonio Holmes there I really think Burress will see a lot of single coverage and he will eat that up.

#2 Roy Williams
I think the Chicago Bears got a huge upgrade picking up this guy. We all know Chicago is relying more on Jay Cutler throwing the ball so his receivers should put up good numbers. If Williams is there late in your draft, pick him up.

#3 Pierre Garcon
I really thought this guy would have his breakout season last year. He’s big, fast and strong and has shown glimpses of brilliance, but has yet to have that breakout year. At the very least you know this guy will get some numbers with Manning throwing him the ball.

Remember never be afraid to pick up a number 1 or 2 receiver from a bad team. They are usually more likely to put up good numbers because their team is usually trailing. Be sure to check out my other articles for the 2011 fantasy football season and good luck.
