Prom 2012 makeup trends are electrifying. This year is all about dramatic eyes, red bold lips, blue eyeshadow looks,lots of shimmer and dramatic eyeliner looks. These looks have been a huge smash since 2010 and still going strong. If your dress is perfect and your makeup is a mess, then this can destroy your whole look. Dramatic Eyes
This can be the smokey look using brighter colors than the normal dark hues such as grey and black. Or 3 tone colors to create a dramatic look using bold reds, bright blues, neon greens, electric purple, and intensifying tangerine.

Whether you opt for a light blue, teal, turquoise, neon, or electric, your eyes are bound to get noticed. Blue shadow was a huge hit back in the 80’s, and celebrities today are recreating this look all over again. This year 2012,Selena Gomez sported a electric blue look with thick bold eyeliner, Ashanti wore a dark navy smokey eye with winged liner, and Tyra Banks wore a bluish gray look on top and bottom of eye. Don’t be afraid if it’s too light, too dark, or pastel, anything goes.
