Bring or rent your mask and snorkel so you can see the source of the Blue Springs where over 100 million gallons of spring water flow into the St. John’s River everyday. There’s a bit of a current when swimming towards the big blue hole past the submerged trees to the water’s source. This natural Florida hotspot is home to Manatees in the winter where the constant 72 degree water keeps them warm enough and brings lots of tourists for the Manatee festival at the end of January each year.
