This past February, the Green Bay Packers proved once again why they are one of the most prolific and well known franchises in NFL history. Snagging Super Bowl win number four was just a small reminder of that prestige. However, this was lost on most of the country, I believe, due to the long and drawn out work stoppage that threw all other news of Super Bowl champions and their players out of the window.

In one small month, the Packers have demonstrated that last year was no fluke, they are back on track and hungry for more. Through four short weeks, the offense has scored 30 plus points every game and showed a dominance over their opponents that cannot be taken lightly anymore. Welcome back to football America, be prepared to see another season of Packer dominance.
This past Sunday against the Denver Broncos, the Packers made a cry out to football nation when they demolished the team that once showed that repeating as Super Bowl champs is extremely tough. Not this year, the Packers are on a mission to show they are here and here to stay. The stats are so amazing even I couldn’t believe it. Rodgers accounted for 6 total touchdowns, four through the air and two on the ground. Defense has 8 total interceptions and 3 fumble recoveries to go along with it. They have arguably the best 5 receivers in the league, 3 of which could easily start as a leading receiver on other teams. That doesn’t even account for probably the scariest TE the league has seen in quite some time in Jermichael Finley.
The list can go on and on about why the Packers are a force to reckon with this season, and if Rodgers continues putting up numbers as fast as he will, he should finally get the recognition he deserves.
