Governor Stumpy’s Grill House is located in the Waldo neighborhood in Kansas City Missouri. They have served Kansas City with 15 years of great food and drinks with a great attitude! This service includes a variety of great beer, such as, Kansas City’s own Boulevard beer (their seasonal Irish Ale is currently on tap),and original mixed drinks like their Bomb Pop Martini or Stumpy’s Punch. They have a great menu featuring Irish inspired dishes (best Reuben sandwich in town), burgers, along with pasta and specialty pizzas. Happy hour is always happy offering great drink specials and appetizers Monday – Friday, 3 – 6 p.m.

As always, Governor Stumpy’s will be serving their Green Eggs and Ham breakfast (yes, it’s green) at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 17th for St. Patrick’s Day, along with country potatoes, and biscuits and gravy for folks to enjoy as they wait for the parade to begin. Q104 will be doing a live broadcast as well for the event. After breakfast, Kevin Ryan, the owner, and crew will hop aboard the Stumpy’s fire truck to take part in the parade. Once the parade and festivities die down, go back to Governor Stumpy’s to continue your St. Patrick’s Day celebration, as you enjoy some good food and drinks, a bagpiper just might pass through with some traditional Irish music to enjoy!

O’Malley’s Irish Pub is a unique little pub, which is owned by Weston Brewing Company home of great local lagers and beers, like their Emerald Lager and Cream Ale Irish Style. This pub is Irish, through and through, who’ve sponsored and hosted the 2011 Irish Music Awards and Weston Irish Festival, this is the place to visit on any day, especially St. Patrick’s Day. O’Malley’s original, middle-of-no-where pub, is several stories underground in a 19th century stonewall cold storage facility.

On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th, they will have performances from the Three Dollar Band, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Bob Reeder in their Upper Pub, 8 p.m -12 a.m.

Open till 1:30 a.m. Monday – Saturday, you can enjoy a pint while rooting for your favorite soccer, football, or rugby team. They also have live Irish music, offer a Traditional Irish Breakfast (breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th), and Happy Hour from 3 – 7 p.m.

O’Dowd’s Little Dublin is located on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City Missouri across from Pinstripes. Join your friends at O’Dowd’s Little Dublin Monday through Friday, 4 – 7 p.m., for ½ price small plates and specials on draft beer, house wine, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra and MGD 64 bottles, vodka Red Bulls, Appletini’s and Cosmopolitan’s.
