Billy Crystal will be filming a new movie in Atlanta beginning in September. “Us and Them” is a sports film. Crystal stars as Artie Decker, announcer for the Fresno Grizzlies baseball team. A comedy, you can expect a good laugh if it follows Crystal’s other films.
City Slickers (1991) is hilarious. In the opening scene, Crystal finds himself in front of a bull stampede. It is one of the most hilarious scenes in Hollywood history. The story continues, with city slicker Crystal in unlikely Western scenes. A cowboy Crystal is not, but the New Yorker endures a cattle drive out west. Buy it if you’ve never seen it!
When Harry met Sally (1989) is another excellent Crystal film. Crystal plays Harry and Megan Ryan plays Sally, two friends who’ve known each other for years. Their friendship becomes romantic. In one unforgettable scene, Ryan tells Crystal it’s easy to fake an orgasm. Crystal disagrees. After Ryan demonstrates in the middle of a restaurant and makes a scene, a neighboring customer says, “I’ll have what she’s having.” Don’t miss it. Find it if you haven’t seen it.
