Gobbler Hobbler –
Where: Fox Chase Elementary School – 260 Fox Chase Dr N, Oswego, Ill.
When: 9:00a.m.
What: 10k race around the Oswegoland on a USATF certified course. Race will be chip-timed and runners will be treated to walking pancakes after the run.
Cost: 10K Pre-Registered, $25 /10K Race Day, $35 /1 Mile, $15

Ecumenical Worship Mass –
Where: Oswego Presbyterian Church – 1976 State Route 25, Oswego, Ill.
When: 7:00 p.m.
What: A mass to celebrate being thankful for the upcoming season.

Thanksgiving Day Workout –
Where: Oswegoland Park District Civic Center and Aquatic Park -5 Ashlawn Avenue, Montgomery, Ill.
When: 8:30a.m. – 9:45a.m.
What: Burn some extra calories before the feast! This high energy class is team taught and includes a variety of workout styles; cardio, aerobics, kickboxing, toning, yoga, and more! Modifications given as needed, class is appropriate for all levels.

McDonald’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Where: State Street, Chicago, Ill.
When: 8:00a.m. – 11:00a.m.
What: Sponsored by McDonald’s and featuring characters like Ronald McDonald, Santa Claus and a cast of over a thousand, the 78th parade down State Street in Chicago will commence at 8:00a.m. Whether your feet are tapping to the beat of the bands, gazing at the parade balloons or waving to the performers it is great fun for the entire family.
