how long do you stay high on weed?
Q: how long do you stay high?can you burn calories while smoking weed?
A: Depends on the potency and how much you smoke. Generally it can last between 30 minutes and 3-5 hours. But remember that the THC stays in your system for much longer, 28 days tops unless you flush your system out by drinking lots of water and/or exercising. And I’m sure you can burn calories, I don’t know why you wouldn’t be able too.
Gaining weight while quitting smoking?
Q: I’ve been on a healthy diet and exercise plan for about 2 months now. I’ve lose 20 pounds, and I still have about 10 more to lose. I really want to take the step and quit smoking cigarettes. I’ve smoked for about 6 years. The first three years, I smoked occasionally, but the most recent 3 years I’ve smoked a little less than a pack a day-sometimes a pack a day. Now I want Sunday to be my first day of not smoking. Do you think i’ll gain weight from this? I’m still going to exercise and eat healthy, I just know cigarettes can burn calories. Does anybody have any experience with quitting and gaining or not gaining weight? I’m still going to quit regardless, but I just want to know what I can expect. Thank you!
A: Try the Lil Jack workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezris it really works
Losing weight while trying to quit smoking is this possible?
Q: I have been dieting for the past 3 months, and I just quit smoking 4 days ago. It is hard but to me what makes it harder is the possibility of gaining the weight I just lost back. It’s depressing…so what I did was subtracted 75 calories from what I eat daily and I burn an extra 75 calories off during my workouts (I did this because it’s said that when you smoke 20 cigarettes a day you burn 200 calories, and I only smoked 15 a day so I figured that I was burning 150). I think I’m on the right track I just want to know if anybody else has tried to quit smoking and lose weight at the same time? Did it work?I already posted this question somewhere else but the only answers I got were advertisements.I’m already on a calorie deficit diet I just subtracted an extra 75 calories.I am using nicotine gum.
A: Good for you on not smoking. But as for losing weight, smoking speeds up your metabolism. So since you stopped smoking don’t think that you’ll lose weight on the same level as if you were still smoking. Most people believe that you gain weight after you quit because you feel the need for something in your mouth. Which is perhaps partly true. But the honest truth is once you quit smoking your metabolism slows way down.
