Q: I was suffering from anorexia last year for about 2 months after I was being teased for being a fatty by some of the workers at a shopping mall I was working at that time. My heaviest was 96 kgs about 211 pounds & my height is only 5ft 5.In the beginning of my weight lost program, I ate very very little but 3 meals a day. In the morning I would eat a toast with low fat butter & then for lunch I had cherry tomatoes & then for dinner I had one boiled egg. I ate these same food for about a week & lost weight very fast. I would drop 2 kgs a day & then sometimes 1 kg. In the 1st week, I lost 5 kgs in total.Then I stopped eating. I would go off without for 3-4 days & I would only drink less than a cup of water a day. I just never felt like putting anything into my mouth. I used the sauna everyday too(I have a portable one) & did the house work all the time just to burn off the fats even faster. I did this for 2 months & I dropped 30 kgs in total. After that for some strange reason, I started eating like a pig again & I’m almost back to where I started.I am thinking of going back into that kind of dieting again because it worked so well for me & I got great results really fast. I was always obsessed at weighing myself a few times a day. Losing a kg each day is just very exciting. Personally for me, I think that’s the best way to lose weight. The other diets never worked for me. I am thinking of starting tomorrow.Has anyone done this kind of dieting before? Anybody has or had anorexia? How fast did you lose weight?
A: This is only a short time weight loss as you have found out and it is’nt healthy..I found by shopping at Trader Joes or a Whole foods you can change you way of eating and loose weight the healthy way.I also found out that I am not hungry like I always was because of the sugar crashes you have thru the day.I started shopping at Trader Joes Sept 18, of this year and lost 12 lbs,my husband lost 15 lbs.Eating fish and brown rice with a vegtable or salad for dinner,a ready made soup with whole wheat crackers for lunch and a Bagel w/cream cheese for breakfast.I buy their all natural/organic juices and walk daily.You have dogs and can do this.I found that shopping here actually saved me money as I don’t have to buy as much junk food to fill me up..You will be surprised at the ready made meals that they have also..Eat smaller portions but really go there and see the great stuff they have.It’s the sugar & white flour that you need to stop eating..They have snacks there that are made with wheat and to sweeten things they use juice.Good luck but please don’t do what you did before as you will find yourself failing everytime..
