Q: We had unprotected sex two days before and the day before she got her period so we had unprotected sex the 2 days before she got her period and she got her period so can she still get pregnant? A: Yes – she can. No ovulation cycle is the same, some women ovulate a few days after their period, some a week after, some a week before and some even DURING their period. You can never know for sure.If you are worried, then get her to buy a test in about 3 weeks. It should be accurate enough, if she hasn’t started her period, to tell you if she is pregnant or not.ALSO, it is possible for a woman to have a “period” while pregnant. It can be an actual light period, or a small section of the female uterus, that is not being used, will still release the clots and cause a female to have what appears to be a period WHILE she is pregnant. If you are TRYING to conceive, like you mentioned, then go do a doctor directly (planned parenthood is best) and have them test her ovulation – since no girl is the same, they can give you an even more accurate ovulation date which will give you more luck. =)
