What are the different causes of slow puberty?
Q: For males.I am a little curious cause I went through puberty really slow.I know it can be hereditary and that premature babies typically go through puberty slower.Call me ignorant if you will but I have been curious about a few other things:Can one step of puberty finish extremely fast while the other one takes a long time or does puberty in general go at a steady pace all around? How long has it been known for males/females to take to finish puberty? I am not asking for averages, I am talking about the extremes. Is puberty more physical or mental? (opinion question)Is maturing mentally a part of puberty, or just growing older in general? If maturing mentally is also a part of puberty, do people typically mature mentally at the same pace as they mature physically, or do they mature mentally or physically first, etc. etc.?
A: Your body will be going through changes up until around the mid-twenties. It’s just that most of the changes radically slow down in the late teens. Puberty is merely the start of these changes.

A: Drink lots of milk. I started drinking more milk about 2 years ago (a gallon or 2 a week of fat free) and I started getting more muscle and the hair on my chest almost doubled. I wish I had drunk more back when I first hit puberty. I would probably have a bigger wang or something.
Is it just fat or puberty?
Q: I have fat on my thighs and a little baby fat on my stomach. I’m 13. I’m on a diet and everything and I exercise a lot to try to get rid of it but I can’t lower my weight or get rid of it. I heard that people eat a lot when they are going through puberty. So I eat normally now. I have bulky calves too. Overtime, will all of those features thin out? and if I grow taller, will my calves elongate?
A: its all okay. im thirteen right now, and most of my puberty fat is completely gone. i only have about 5 extra pounds left. before puberty, i use to be skinny as a twig. now.., im not near as fat when puberty started, but i just have a little bit of fat left. just don’t worry. it will all go away sooner or later. it just depends on how fast your body develops. it doesn’t really matter taking a diet. i mean of course its a god thing, but it will do very little on helping you loose weight during puberty. just bare with me, and you’ll get through this.
