A: Yes you can. When a woman ovulates she usually ovulates from only one ovary (unless if she has twins) not from both, and she might ovulate from the left ovary in one cycle, and then from the right ovary the next cycle. So you can definetly fall pregnant when you ovulate from one ovary.
What decides the baby’s gender, the ovary or the sperm?
Q: ok so ive been hearing that women have a male ovary and a female ovary is this true? so if i want to get pregnant with one ovary im only having one gender? thats what ive been told. can someone please help me!!! im like totally freaking out…lol…please and thank you!!!!
A: No. The ovaries are the organs from which the eggs are released, and all eggs have an X (female) chromosome. It is the sperm that determines the sex, as some sperm carry an X chromosome and some sperm carry a Y (male) chromosome.XX=femaleXY=male
