What did everyone think about the American Idol finale tonight?

Q: I thought it was great. I don’t recall any of the other seasons having such a grand finale as this 5th season. And I loved the part where that Michael kid (the Clay Aiken kid) won that award and was asked to sing and he started to sing Elton John’s “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” and then Clay Aiken appeared. OMG! When the background started to separate, my dad and I were like, “who is that?” I knew for sure it wasn’t Elton himself, so I had no idea. Then I recognized his face and it was Clay Aiken. Love the new look by the way with the hair. That poor kid had no idea, lol. I busted out laughing when he finally realized that Clay was there and started singing with him. He freaked out. I think he almost dropped his mic. He was so freaked out and amazed that he couldn’t continue to sing, so Clay sang the rest by himself, lol. And then with Taylor winning…that was just awesome. I wanted Chris to win, but I’m glad Taylor did because AI needed another male winner.

A: that was Clay? OH OK! I was confused who that was, but happy for the kid to sing that song with Clay. I loved the show. I liked it when Dionne Warwich appeared. I like to see the people voted off perform. I like Elliot and of course I like Chris, but it was nice to see the ones from several weeks ago.
